LAKIN, Kan. (January 19, 2021) — Kearny County Hospital is proud to announce that Alok Shah, M.D., orthopedic specialist, has joined its medical staff. Dr. Shah now sees patients at Kearny County Hospital.

A longtime resident of southwestern Kansas, Dr. Shah has been affiliated with Kearny County Hospital to provide orthopedic services at monthly clinics in Lakin. His clinics will now be held weekly.

Dr. Shah specializes in general and pediatric orthopedics; hand, spine and foot surgery; and pain management including the neck and upper back. He also performs total joint replacements and treats a wide range of sports-related orthopedic injuries.

Dr. Shah completed his residency in orthopedic surgery with Richland Memorial Hospital at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., and his fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at the Alfred I. DuPont Institute in Wilmington, Del. He earned his medical degree at MGM Medical College in Indore, India.

Dr. Shah will be performing surgery on Wednesdays and seeing patients at the orthopedic clinic on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To make an appointment, please call 620-355-7550.
