Letter to the Community from Kearny County Hospital CEO David Hofmeister

David Hofmeister, Chief Executive Officer of Kearny County Hospital

Season’s Greetings from Kearny County Hospital!

As this challenging year comes to a close, I am filled with gratitude for the strength, resolve and compassion I see inside and outside our hospital every day. Despite many new obstacles, our KCH family has been strong and united in our commitment to quality care with the personal touch everyone deserves.

Kearny County Hospital has been dedicated to the health of this community for more than 60 years, and we will continue that commitment for generations to come. The best health outcomes come from long-term provider-patient relationships, which are the heart of everything we do. We understand and support the need for choices when it comes to healthcare, and we want everyone to know they can put their trust in us for the highest quality care available. Perhaps you’ve even seen our new campaign called, Your Health. Your Choice. If not, I encourage you to visit kearnyhealth.com to learn more about what we do and how we deliver whole-person, whole-family care.

As a team, we take our responsibility for the health of this community very seriously. We embrace all people and points of view, and we infuse compassion and caring into every interaction. As doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals who live, work and play in this community – with and among you and your families – we believe in whole person, family-centered care that elevates health for all of us. After all, healthier people build a healthier community, and we are all in this together for better health.

The choice of where to go for your care is an important one. Choosing the doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals you know and trust, right here at home, is the best way to protect your family’s health and wellness. It’s your health and your choice, and we will always be here to support you every step of the way.

I wish you all peace and happiness this holiday season and throughout the coming year. Here’s to your health!
