Dr. Michael Wolfe is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine and currently provides outreach services at Kearny County Hospital as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He enjoys working as an OB/GYN and all that it entails. He specifically enjoys coming to Lakin to provide Maternal Fetal Medicine services to patients from southwest Kansas that are otherwise not available unless they travel to Wichita. Dr. Wolfe enjoys Maternal Fetal Medicine because it provides a good blend of exposure to both normal and abnormal pregnancies. He likes that he is given the opportunity to support mothers and families through complicated pregnancies that sometimes result in grief but also that he gets the privilege to enjoy celebrating with mothers and families who have happier outcomes. Dr. Wolfe graduated from University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita and completed his residency at the Wesley Medical Center Residency in Wichita, KS. Dr. Wolfe, outside of work, enjoys running with his children, taking his kids hunting, and riding horses. He also enjoys gardening and tending to his fruit trees.
