LAB

The lab at Kearny County Hospital is covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so almost any emergency or life-threatening situation calling for laboratory testing can be handled immediately.  Modern, up-to-date chemistry and cell counting equipment make testing faster and more accurate.  Any reference lab testing required is done at St. Catherine's Hospital or LabCorp in Wichita so results are available in a relatively short time.

X-ray

We are proud of our radiology department which is equipped to provide high quality diagnostic images with minimal exposure to radiation.  We ensure our patients of quality examinations and care 24 hrs a day, 7 days per week.  A new CT scan unit was added to our department in August 2007.  The current diagnostic x-ray room was installed in August 2004 along with PACS and CR which makes us 100% filmless.  Images are transmitted digitally to our Radiologist 25 miles away.  This technology enables us to better serve our patients in a more timely fashion.  Bone Densitometry is also a service we provide in-house.  We also offer ultrasound 2 days per week and MRI 1 day per week.
